Vom Hersteller wie auch bei diversen H\u00e4ndlern ist zu lesen, dass es sich bei der Cashmere Dreams von Lang Yarns<\/a> um ein Sport-Weight Garn handelt. Auf der anderen Seite wird es als tolles Beilaufgarn anstelle von Mohair-Seiden-Garnen beschrieben. Da stimmt doch etwas nicht, dachten wir uns und haben diverse Maschenproben erstellt, um den ganzen auf den Grund zu gehen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Einf\u00e4dig verstrickt mit Nadelnr. 3 ergeben rund 26 Maschen in der Breite und ein sehr luftiges Strickbild.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Zweif\u00e4dig verstrickt mit Nadelnr. 4.5 mm ergibt es in der Breite eine Maschenprobe von rund 18 Maschen. Passend f\u00fcr die Kumulus Bluse von Petite Knit<\/a> oder den Shine Cardigan von Novemberknits<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Verstrickt mit einem Fingering-Weight Garn und Nadelnr. 4 mm ergibt 21 Maschen. Eine typische Maschenprobe f\u00fcr Fingering Merino und Mohair-Seiden-Garn-Kombis (wie z.B. Sandnes Sunday<\/a> und Tynn Silk Mohair<\/a>, Arwetta Classic<\/a> und Tilia<\/a>, Knitting for Olive Merino <\/a>und Soft Silk Mohair<\/a>). Von daher eignet sich die Cashmere Dreams hervorragend als Ersatz f\u00fcr Moahir-Seiden-Garne. Die etwas l\u00e4ngeren Fasern sorgen f\u00fcr einen nicht all zu starken M\u00e9lange-Effekt, jedoch sind die Farben etwas definierter, als bei den noch l\u00e4ngeren Fasern der Mohair-Seidengarne.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Unser Fazit: Die Cashmere Dreams w\u00fcrden wir eher als Lace-Garn einordnen. Das einf\u00e4dige Maschenbild ist sehr luftig. Sie eignet sich prima als Beilaufgarn anstelle von den Seiden-Mohair-Garnen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
